The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. Since its foundation in 1994, FSC has grown to become the world’s most respected and widespread forest certification system.

In Aotearoa New Zealand’s Woodhill Forest, just 50km northwest of Auckland, the FSC Forest Walk brought together retailers, manufacturers and supply chain leaders from across the local FSC network to see responsible forestry in practice.

FSC launches consultations on the revision of its Principles and Criteria, International Generic Indicators, and other forest management normative documents (collectively referred to as PCI) and the development of country requirements. The consultations are open from 01 October 2025 until 30 November 2025.
