This also means that the six-month period between the end of the transition to the NFSS and the end of validity of the certificates based on the old standard has been shifted.
The new timeline is as follows:
Expiry of the new NFSS transition period: 31 December 2020.
End of the validity of FSC certificates issued on the basis of the previous standard: 30 June 2021.
All certificate holders shall have been audited on the basis of the new NFSS (based on main audit or annual surveillance, as scheduled) by 31 December 2020.
