Sydney Metro Northwest Project has become Australia's first infrastructure project to gain FSC partial project certification for Rouse Hill Train Station. The timber used to build Metro station canopies and parking facades is sourced from local FSC certified forests in New South Wales.
FSC CEO Sara Gipton applauded Sydney Metro Northwest, John Holland, and CPB Contractors for choosing FSC certified timber. She highlighted the potential for the new FSC Australia Forest Management Standard to help grow FSC project certification.
