A study published in Frontiers in Forests and Global Change explored this question. Researchers analysed publicly available forest, economic, and environmental data across 28 European countries to assess how certification levels correlate with economic outcomes in the forestry sector.
In March 2024, FSC launched the Eurasia Integrity Workplan (EIW) to holistically address a range of integrity risks identified in FSC-certified supply chains across the Eurasian region. One year on, FSC is pleased to share the progress made through this multi-faceted initiative.
