Masterspec is New Zealand's leading provider of Digital Construction Information and tools for the design and construction industry.
Formed in 1995, CIL provides the Masterspec specification systems to architects, engineers, designers, utility companies, government organisations and tertiary institutions.
Masterspec had already included FSC timber and certification in the formal green/sustainable sections for Green Star, HomeStar and Living Building Challenge. This month they have added FSC clauses to the Masterspec generic timber and timber related work sections, so that any project can specify sustainable timber if it is available.
