This year FSC held their second ever Global Staff Meeting at the FSC Global Head Office in Bonn. The week-long event brought together FSC staff and representatives from all over the world to attend workshops and seminars in which we shared our experiences,successes and tried to help each other with our challenges.
FSC Australia and New Zealand were represented by CEO Sara Gipton, FSC Australia Communications Officer Sanjeewani Pathirage, and FSC New Zealand Business Development Consultant, Craig Kenney.

We can gain insights into different approaches to addressing those issues, whether it’s dealing with challenging stakeholders; getting insights to state owned forests, or learning from other’s experience in promoting FSC as a responsible way to eliminate deforestation.
