Guest Speakers:

Kelly Williamson, Tree Crop Manager, Timberlands Pacific Pty Ltd: 

Introducing the work of Australian FSC-certified forestry organisation Timberlands Pacific Pty Ltd, Kelly will discuss the organisation’s engagement with First Nations peoples and the traditional fire management practice of cultural burning. This session will provide insights into TPPL's sustainable forest management practices and the significance of their FSC certification. 

 

Julie Roberts, Head of Sustainability, Mitre 10 New Zealand: The History and Benefits of Mitre 10's Partnership with FSC 

Explore the history of Mitre 10’s partnership with FSC and why they chose to be both Promotional Licence Holders and Chain of Custody certificate holders. This session will highlight the benefits and value of this approach and provide examples of how Mitre 10 has leveraged its relationship with FSC in its communications, marketing, and messaging.

Join us as we reflect on FSC’s impact across Australia and New Zealand, expressing our gratitude to all our stakeholders for their support. This session will also touch on our focus and strategic priorities for the next couple of years, outlining how we plan to continue driving positive environmental, social, and economic outcomes. 

 

Sarah Day, Engagement and Communications Manager, FSC ANZ: FSC Forest Week 2024 

This session will cover all things FSC Forest Week 2024. Discover how organisations have successfully participated in previous years and learn about this year’s campaign theme. Sarah will also showcase the creative visual assets designed to elevate your participation and engagement.  

 

Stefan Jensen, Policy and Standards Manager, FSC ANZ: FSC Aligned for EUDR 

This session offers an overview of the European Union's Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and its relevance to the ANZ region. Stefan will explore the implications of the EUDR for local stakeholders and explore the benefits FSC’s new EUDR Aligned could offer for ANZ Promotional Licence Holders. This session will provide valuable insights into how these new developments may support your sustainability goals and compliance efforts. 

 

Jen Nicita, Trademarks and Partnerships Manager, FSC ANZ: The PLH Annual Report 

This session will provide insights into the global highlights of the promotional licence holder program throughout 2023 and showcase the incredible growth of the program across Australia and New Zealand as well as globally.  In addition to an overview of statistics, we’ll explore some key achievements and look at some examples of inspiring campaigns demonstrating how our Promotional Licence Holders help to drive the visibility and success of FSC all around the world.
