The CPF program was created to highlight products that meet sustainability standards that help preserve the natural world. FSC is the only certification scheme focusing exclusively on forest products that Amazon has selected to feature in the program.  

FSC has partnered with Amazon on the CPF program since 2020 in the United States. In 2025, the program expanded to operate across 14 countries, including Australia.  

Studies show that products included in CPF program enjoy an average 10% increase in Product Page Views through 18 discovery features, advertising & marketing activations, and B2B features. CPF products are sold at a higher average selling price, demonstrating that consumers are willing to pay a higher price for sustainable products. CPF is also driving customer switching behaviour, making it easier for customers to identify and purchase more environmentally friendly products*.
