The subject discussed was how the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and its chain of custody system works, how the industry benefits from chain of custody and some examples of the system in action. Over 71 businesses and individuals attended the webinar, and the overall feedback was very positive.

The webinar was broken down into four broad categories:

1. How the FSC Council fits into the NZ GBC system. – Presented by Danidu Wijekoon of the NZ GBC

2. An introduction to the FSC (who we are, how we operate, how decisions are made) – Presented by Craig Kenney of the FSC NZ

3. The Chain of Custody system (how it works, who it is for, benefits it provides for the market and for consumers) - Presented by Craig Kenney of the FSC NZ

4. An open floor for questions followed by some of our most frequently asked questions - Presented by Craig Kenney of the FSC NZ

Supporting FSC NZ was Danidu Wijekoon, the NZ GBC Residential Technical Manager. Danidu is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is certainly worth reaching out to if you have any questions regarding the NZ GBC and its technical tools.
