Come and meet the FSC Australia team on FSC Friday!!
FSC Australia will be holding our own FSC Friday event this Friday! Come and join the staff at FSC Australia for a drink and a chat.

Everyone is welcome to pop in from 11-2pm. If you are not located in Melbourne you can Skype in and join the fun!

This is a great opportunity to meet Natalie Reynolds our CEO and Daniel Mackey, Deputy CEO – Policy, along with the rest of the team. You will also see the hard work that went into creating the #FSCAhouse, our edgy new chamber based mural on the garage door and the FSC Certified products from our members and retail supporters on display in our reception area.

As this weekend is the AFL grand final here in Melbourne, we have decided to keep in line with the culture and dress in our team colours.

We hope to see you there, or hear about how you celebrate FSC Friday.

Hold your own event
There are many ways which you can get involved on FSC Friday - you could spread the word over social media, hold a contest or competition, host an afternoon tea, or facilitate donations on behalf of FSC Australia.

FSC Friday is a great opportunity to raise the awareness of FSC in your workplace - tell your customers and clients why you choose FSC, and encourage them to do the same. There are FSC resources such as posters, which you could use to show your support for FSC Friday.

Why raise funds for FSC Friday?
FSC Friday is a great opportunity for supporting organisations to raise funds toward the continued development of the FSC Australian National Forestry standard. This important work has commenced, but requires further funds to ensure that this standard is able to take into account the unique Australian conditions.

Once this standard has been completed, it will ensure that for the first time in Australia, the FSC Forest Management standard will be consistent across all forestry operations, and written for the Australian context.

This completed standard will have the support of FSC Australia members in all three chambers, and stakeholders from across the country will have had the opportunity to feed into the process, but for this to happen, we need the resources to support this work.
