FSC Australia received notification late yesterday from Tony Price that he will be resigning his position on the FSC Australia Board, effective immediately.
FSC Australia would like to thank Tony for his service, helping to set the strategic direction, and manage the budgets and expenditure of the membership organisation.
We wish Tony well in working through the issues identified in the recent audit report, focussing efforts on rectifying the corrective actions, and working toward having their FSC certification reinstated.
Nominations called for casual vacancy in the Economic Chamber.
As is usual practice, whenever the Board decides to fill a casual vacancy on the Board of FSC Australia, the members are advised and nominations are called for.
If any member of FSC Australia wishes to nominate to be considered by the Board for appointment to fill the casual vacancy, you will need to complete the Directors Nomination form and return it to the Company Secretary (Natalie Reynolds) by no later than 5pm Friday 15th November 2013.
All nominations will be considered by the Board at the following meeting. Casual vacancies subsist until the next annual general meeting, currently scheduled to be held on 28th May, 2014, at which time, the seats go to election in the usual way pursuant to clause 10.3(c) of the constitution.
