Following correspondence with several members and deliberation over the applications received so far the FSC Australia Directors made the following decisions on Friday (20th September):
- Applications would be re-open for a period of 7 days (starting today and closing Sunday evening).
- Once applications have been received members will be invited to participate in an online secret ballot to decide any seats that are being contested by more than one applicant.
- Members will be in a position to decide their chamber's representatives via this ballot.
- As per the Terms of Reference applicants must be members of FSC or have a membership application accompanying their SDG nomination.
- Applicants must nominate for a particular seat within their chamber with their application addressing how they fit the skill set required.
- Membership applications will be reviewed by the Board out of session on Monday (30th September).
- Ballots will be independently scrutinised.
